• 3 looks and 1/2 hour devoted to business practices

• Demonstration of techniques on a live model from 10-1 pm - this can be taken alone for those not wanting to do the hands on portion. The cost is $125 for the demo.

• Hands on portion of class from 2-4:30 pm. This portion of the class is limited to 10 people and you’ll need a doll head and stand or live model , rubber bands, pins, combs, brushes. One on one assistance provided. The cost for all day is $225

Adventures in Haircutting - This class will be taught by one of the founding members of the Hanzo artistic team, Darren Reyes. Darren will guide you through the toughest techniques, helping you conquer all hair types. Come learn, explore, and have a good time.

This class is focused on textured women’s medium to long cut.

TRAINING OBJECTIVE: Perfect for the stylist who doesn’t like to follow the conventional rules of haircutting. Dry hair cutting is much more intuitive than wet hair cutting. Dry hair cutting requires a specific approach to read growth patterns and work with the natural fall of the hair. The instruction will cover many unique cutting techniques to both enhance and control textures in the hair. Dry hair cutting allows you to see the shape come to life as excess hair is carved away.
